Google continues to add to its collection of services. Googletalk provides free IM and talk (audio) communication. Goggletalk is not presently available for the Mac, but can communicate with iChat.
Googletalk is intended to work with Gmail (you must have a Gmail account, Googletalk makes use of your Gmail contacts).
