Safari 4 Tip

I have quickly become a fan of the new Safari browser. I use the Top Sites feature as a convenient way to launch sites I use frequently – something like a visual bookmarks list. These page will be populated by most frequently visited sites unless you intervene. You can edit the page and reposition sites (and tack them in place) to suit your personal needs.

I encountered a problem when I wanted to circumvent the method of determining which page thumbnails shows up on the Top Sites page. What if you want to add a new site or an important site you visit infrequently. I assumed there must be a method and there is. You simply open two browser windows. Go into edit mode on the Top Sites page and drag the url icon from the desired site in the second browser window to the spot desired on the Top Sites page. (MacWorld explanation)
