Here is one of the sources we follow to develop insight into how we all make use of the Internet. The Pew Internet and American Life Project<\/a> has made a commitment to chronicle our developing and changing use of the Internet. Part of the project is devoted to providing basic statistics — who uses the Internet and for what.<\/p>\n

Some attention is given to the use of the Internet in Schools. A late 2002 survey<\/a> indicated that students make use of the Internet to address school tasks, but often outside of school and without the guidance of educators.<\/p>\n
